PRE-COLLEGE MENTORING
Dance Device Lab Faculty have worked with scores of college and university programs throughout the country as adjunct professors, repetiteurs, choreographers, and guest teachers.
Designed for high-school-aged juniors, seniors, and their parents, this interactive Mentoring Program will help you navigate the college decision process.
This one-year virtual program has limited availability. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until full.

1-1 MEETINGS
Your DDL Mentor will connect with Dancers and their Parents four times over the year. We will discuss dynamic strategies, create an action plan, and collaboratively work to help you achieve your goals.
Three meetings will be geared toward the Dancer. One meeting will be for Parents only.
NETWORK
Curious about a specific school or program? We have a myriad of connections associated with various institutions throughout the country.
We will gladly connect you with one of his colleagues so you can ask them any questions directly.
RESUME/BIO/
HEADSHOT
With years of experience “behind the table,” DDL knows what audition materials stand out. We will provide feedback on resume formatting, advise on headshot options for commercial and concert gigs, and help you craft the narrative in your biography — all to help you distinguish yourself in the audition process.
COACHING
You will meet twice with your DDL Mentor, who will coach your audition solo or review technical ballet and modern dance elements to help you prepare for an in-person audition.
APPLICATION REVIEW
Cover letters and personal statements help show who you are as a citizen. Your DDL Mentor will guide you through this process and help you draft language for these vital application materials.
CHOREOGRAPHY
For auditions, most colleges prefer to see a modern/contemporary. Not sure where to start? DDL will choreograph a unique solo for you, highlighting your strengths and tailored to your application material.
